Terms of Service

Chapter 1. General Provisions

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) define the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by "Tend a Garden", and set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both the Company and the users.

Article 2. Effect and Modification of the Terms

1. These Terms become effective upon being made publicly available to users.

2. The Company may amend these Terms due to changes in circumstances or for business reasons. Any amendments will take effect as specified in Paragraph 1.

Article 3. Matters Not Specified in the Terms

Any matters not specified herein shall follow the applicable laws and regulations.


Chapter 2. Membership and Use of Services

Article 1. Definition of a Member

A “Member” refers to an individual who agrees to these Terms, provides the required personal information, and is issued a unique ID and password upon the Company’s approval.

Article 2. Establishment of Service Agreement

1. The service agreement is formed when a user applies for membership and agrees to the Terms, and the Company approves the application.

2. Applicants must provide the required personal information requested by the Company.

3. Upon approval, the Company will assign a unique member ID and notify the user.

4. The issued ID cannot be changed and only one ID is issued per person.

5. The Company may reject applications in the following cases:

• Use of another person’s identity

• Use of a false or non-real name

• Submission of false information

• Applications made for the purpose of disrupting public order or decency

Article 3. Use and Limitations of Service

1. In principle, services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless technical or business issues arise.

2. The Company may limit service hours with prior notice for system maintenance or other necessary circumstances.

3. Online consultations may not be available 24/7 depending on the availability of the responding staff.

Article 4. Service Fees

1. The service is provided free of charge to all registered members.

2. If the Company introduces paid services, it will publicly announce the pricing policy and implementation date in advance.


Chapter 3. Withdrawal, Re-Registration, and Service Restrictions

Article 1. Withdrawal from Service

1. Members wishing to withdraw must directly contact the administrator via email.

2. The user must provide name, resident registration number, ID, phone number, and reason for withdrawal. After verification, the membership will be canceled.

3. Once the ID and password no longer work, the withdrawal has been processed.

Article 2. Re-Registration

1. A withdrawn member may request re-registration by contacting the administrator via email.

2. Name, resident registration number, ID, and phone number must be provided for reactivation.

3. If login is successful using the existing credentials, re-registration is complete.

Article 3. Service Restrictions

The Company may terminate or suspend service without notice if a member:

• Violates public order or decency

• Is involved in criminal activities

• Uses the service with intent to harm national or public interests

• Steals another member’s ID or password

• Defames or disadvantages others

• Registers multiple IDs

• Interferes with service operations

• Violates applicable laws or the Terms


Chapter 4. Limitations of Liability Regarding Services

Article 1. Online Consultation

1. The Company strives to keep consultation content secure, but is not liable if:

• The user’s negligence results in password leakage

• The user deletes the consultation

• Content is lost due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the Company’s control

2. Staff may refer to past consultations to provide better responses.

3. Consultation content may be used anonymously for:

• Academic purposes

• Publications or CDs

• FAQs or featured consultations

4. Answers provided represent individual opinions and not official Company positions.

5. The Company may refuse consultations that:

• Are repeated with the same content

• Contain inappropriate language

Article 2. Informational Services

1. The content provided is general and for informational purposes only. It does not replace professional medical advice. Users should consult licensed professionals for any health concerns.

2. The Company does not endorse specific products, services, or treatments. Opinions expressed are those of the respective contributors.

3. The Company is not liable for any damages or issues arising from the use of information, advice, or services provided.

Article 1. Company Obligations

1. The Company shall strive to provide continuous and stable services.

2. The Company will handle user inquiries properly and inform users of delays when applicable.

Article 2. User Information Security

1. Members are responsible for managing their ID and password.

2. Members agree to receive emails related to the service.

3. If a user’s ID is misused, they must inform the Company immediately.

4. The Company will not sell or share personal information without consent, except:

• For developing new features or services

• For statistical purposes (without identifying individuals)

• For targeted advertising or service personalization

5. Personally identifiable information may be exposed in public forums. The Company is not liable for such disclosures.

6. Cookies may be used to personalize the experience. Users may opt out through browser settings. Some features may require cookies.

7. The Company may share information with business partners as needed for service provision.


Chapter 6. Dispute Resolution

1. The Company and the user shall seek to resolve disputes through mutual agreement.

2. If legal action is necessary, the court with jurisdiction over the Company’s location shall handle the case.


Chapter 7. Affiliate Links

The Company may include affiliate links to support website operations. These links may generate commissions when purchases are made, at no additional cost to the user.

1. Users are informed of affiliate links for transparency. Commissions support the site’s maintenance.

2. Products/services linked are chosen carefully to provide genuine value.

3. The Company is not responsible for the linked products/services. Purchase decisions are solely the user’s responsibility.

4. The Company is not liable for the content or accuracy of external websites.
